形態特徵

• Perennial herbs; stem caespitose, ascending, simple, 10-15 cm long, minutely tuberculate-hirsute, more or less swollen at nodes.
• Leaves linear, 1.5-2.5 cm long, 1.5 mm wide, acuminate at apex, attenuate and sheathing at base, minutely tuberculate on both surfaces, margins ciliate.
• Flowers solitary, showy, pink, 1.5-2 cm in diam., terminal; pedicels 2.5-4 cm long, slender, pubescent; calyx cylindric-obconical, 1-1.5 cm long, 1 cm wide, erect, hirsute outside, subglabrous inside, 5-nerved, lobes triangular, 3.5-4 mm long, 4-4.5 mm wide, obtuse, margins ciliate; petals long-clawed, 1.6-2 cm long, limb 7-8 mm long, 6-7 mm wide, 2-lobed at apex, lobes rectangular, 3.5-4 mm long, 2 mm wide, truncate, claw cuneate, 1 cm long, 3.5 mm wide, 1.2 mm wide at base; coronal scales widely rectangular, 1.5 mm long, 2.5 mm wide, usually forming a false corona, truncate at apex, margins denticulate; stamens 10; ovary 8 mm long, styles 3-4.
• Previously, I treated this species as a variety of <i>S. morrison-montana</i>. However, its floral char-acters warrant a distinct species.

分布

• 台灣 : 3,000-3,900 m in central and southern parts of the island, on rocks.
